Chuck's Roadhouse menu prices in Canada, August 2026
Verified August 6, 2026CAD, before taxFull menu

I pulled every price off Chuck's Roadhouse's own posted menu and did the arithmetic nobody else selling this keyword has bothered with. The number worth your time first: the Lunch Express window, the thing every "Chuck's menu" page mentions and none of them tests, turns out not to be a discount at all for the three dishes it shares with the dinner menu.
Quick facts
- The cheapest item on the whole menu is bottled water at $2.99. The cheapest food item is the featured soup at $5.99, seasonal from October 1 to March 31.
- The most expensive item listed anywhere is the Fontanafredda Barolo at $42.99, an Ontario-only wine. Among food, the ceiling is a tie: the Porterhouse (20 oz) and the Filet Mignon & Lobster Tail both run $36.99.
- The cheapest burger, and the cheapest full-size main of any kind on the regular menu, is the Chuck's Burger at $9.00.
- The biggest Lunch Express saving is $0.00. Every item the Lunch Express menu shares by name with the regular menu, Chuck's Burger, Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla, and Strawberry Pecan Salad, is priced identically on both. The window's real value is six exclusive dishes, not a markdown.

The Lunch Express window: what actually gets cheaper
Here's the claim every Chuck's page repeats without checking it: order before 5 p.m. and you save money. I matched all nine Lunch Express items against the rest of the menu by name, and the result surprised me enough that I checked it twice.
| Lunch Express item | Lunch Express price | Matching regular-menu item | Regular price | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chuck's Burger | $9.00 | Chuck's Burger, Burgers | $9.00 | $0.00, 0% |
| Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla | $14.99 | Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla, Appetizers | $14.99 | $0.00, 0% |
| Strawberry Pecan Salad | $14.99 | Strawberry Pecan Salad, Salads and soups | $14.99 | $0.00, 0% |
| Chicken Souvlaki | $15.99 | No match on regular menu | n/a | n/a |
| Rustic Penne | $12.99 | No match on regular menu | n/a | n/a |
| Chuck's Toasted Club | $12.99 | No match on regular menu | n/a | n/a |
| Summerhouse Salad | $13.99 | No match on regular menu | n/a | n/a |
| Bourbon Glazed Chicken Sandwich | $13.99 | No match on regular menu | n/a | n/a |
| Baked Turkey Wrap | $12.99 | No match on regular menu | n/a | n/a |
Only three of the nine Lunch Express items also exist on the regular menu by name, and all three cost exactly the same at 1 p.m. as they would at 8 p.m. The Chuck's Burger you'd naturally reach for as "the deal" isn't discounted at all; it's a $9.00 burger every hour the restaurant is open. Same story for the Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla and the Strawberry Pecan Salad. Nothing moves.
That leaves six items, the majority of the list, with no dinner-menu counterpart to compare against: Chicken Souvlaki, Rustic Penne, Chuck's Toasted Club, Summerhouse Salad, Bourbon Glazed Chicken Sandwich, and Baked Turkey Wrap. I'm not going to force a comparison where the source gives me none. What I can say is where they sit: all six fall between $12.99 and $15.99, below every sandwich ($15.99 to $16.99), below most burgers, and well below the steak and rib tiers. Lunch Express isn't a lunch discount on the dinner menu. It's a separate, smaller menu capped at $15.99, built around dishes you can't order after 5 p.m.
One gap I can't close from the source: it doesn't say whether the Lunch Express Chuck's Burger comes with fries the way the dinner-menu version does, or whether the Bourbon Glazed Chicken Sandwich includes fries and dipping sauce the way regular sandwiches do. I'd confirm that at the counter.
The practical conclusion: don't show up before 5 p.m. expecting a markdown on the burger. Show up before 5 p.m. if the Chicken Souvlaki, the wraps, or the lighter salads appeal to you, because those simply aren't sold later in the day. If you want an actual time-based discount at Chuck's, the source points elsewhere: the menu advertises half-price appetizers after 9 p.m. daily, subject to its own terms. Applied to the $16.99 Chuck's Nachos, that's roughly $8.50, a bigger single-item cut than anything Lunch Express produces.
Kids menu economics: the flat $7.49
Lil' Chuck's has six entrées and every one of them is $7.49, whether it's a plain grilled cheese or a hamburger. That's flat-rate pricing, not cost-based pricing, and it means the value of ordering off the kids menu depends entirely on which entrée the adult version would have cost.
| Kids item | Price | Closest adult item | Adult price | Saving |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hamburger | $7.49 | Chuck's Burger, Burgers | $9.00 | $1.51, 16.8% |
| Cheeseburger | $7.49 | Cheeseburger, Burgers | $13.99 | $6.50, 46.5% |
| Chicken Fingers | $7.49 | Chuck's Fingers, Roadhouse classics | $14.99 | $7.50, 50.0% |
| Grilled Cheese | $7.49 | No adult equivalent on this menu | n/a | n/a |
| Marinara Pasta | $7.49 | No adult equivalent on this menu | n/a | n/a |
| Butter Parm Pasta | $7.49 | No adult equivalent on this menu | n/a | n/a |
Two of those matches are exact by name: Hamburger against Chuck's Burger, and Cheeseburger against Cheeseburger. The Chicken Fingers match is my best guess at the closest adult analogue, Chuck's Fingers, but the source doesn't confirm the kids' version is a smaller portion of the same dish, so treat that 50% figure as approximate rather than confirmed. The other three kids' items, grilled cheese and two pasta dishes, have nothing comparable on the adult menu to check against.
Where the flat price pays off is on the Cheeseburger. A parent ordering the kids' Cheeseburger instead of the adult Cheeseburger saves $6.50, a 46.5% cut. Order the kids' Hamburger instead of the adult Chuck's Burger and the saving is much thinner: $1.51, or 16.8%. Same flat kids' price, very different value depending on what you'd have ordered for yourself.
Watch this: the Cheeseburger isn't a pricing error
The menu lists a Cheeseburger twice: $13.99 in the Burgers section and $7.49 in the Lil' Chuck's kids menu. That is not a contradiction and not a typo to average out. It's two different products with the same name, an adult burger and a kids' portion, priced for two different eaters. If you see a Chuck's page online quoting one number as "the" Cheeseburger price, ask which menu they pulled it from.
Where the price tiers sit across the menu
| Category | Price range |
|---|---|
| Lunch Express | $9.00 to $15.99 |
| Salads and soups | $5.99 to $14.99 |
| Appetizers | $8.99 to $22.99 |
| Burgers | $9.00 to $20.99 |
| Sandwiches | $15.99 to $16.99 |
| Sizzlers | $13.99 to $19.99 |
| Roadhouse classics | $14.99 to $20.99 |
| Chicken and ribs | $16.99 to $28.99 |
| Steaks and lobster | $15.00 to $36.99 |
| Lil' Chuck's kids menu | $7.49 flat |
| Desserts | $7.99 to $9.99 |
Two things stand out. First, Sandwiches is the tightest band on the menu, four items packed into a single dollar, $15.99 to $16.99, while Burgers spans nearly $12 top to bottom. Second: the cheapest steak undercuts most of the burger list. Top Sirloin at $15.00 is less than the Bacon Cheeseburger ($15.99), the Sweet Carolina Burger ($16.99), the Smokehouse Burger ($16.99), and every sandwich on the menu. Sizzlers and Roadhouse classics overlap almost completely, $13.99 to $19.99 against $14.99 to $20.99, both sitting between the burger tier and the chicken-and-rib combos.
Lobster tail add-ons price consistently once you isolate them. Top Sirloin alone is $15.00; adding a lobster tail brings it to $25.99, a $10.99 premium. Filet Mignon alone is $26.99; with a lobster tail it's $36.99, a $10.00 premium. Two different steaks, nearly the same lobster surcharge.
Does the low-price positioning hold up?
Chuck's markets itself on affordability. The data backs the entry point and stretches thin at the ceiling. The cheapest burger and the cheapest full-size main on the regular menu are the same dish, the Chuck's Burger at $9.00, a genuinely low number for a sit-down chain. Build it out with the listed add-ons, cheese at $1.99 and bacon at $2.49, and it comes to $13.48, just 51 cents under the standalone Cheeseburger at $13.99. The entry price is real, but stack two add-ons onto it and you've effectively bought the next burger up anyway.
The spread across the full menu is wide. The cheapest food item is the seasonal soup at $5.99; the most expensive is a tie at $36.99 for the Porterhouse and the Filet Mignon & Lobster Tail, a ratio of better than 6 to 1. Count the Ontario-only Barolo at $42.99 and the top of the menu is over 7 times the bottom. "Affordable" describes where you can land on this menu. It doesn't describe the menu as a whole.
The cheapest full meal on the menu
Burgers come with fries already, so the cheapest complete meal, one item plus a drink, is the Chuck's Burger at $9.00 with a bottled water at $2.99: $11.99 total. Swap the water for a pop or iced tea at $3.49 and the total rises to $12.49, with free refills the water doesn't offer. Either way, under $13 is the floor for a sit-down meal here, before tax.
Want a third course without leaving the budget end of the menu? Add the cheapest dessert, a tie between the Klondike Crumble and the Butter Toffee Bread Pudding at $7.99, and the water version of the meal comes to $19.98, or $20.48 with pop. Neither figure is what you'll pay after tax; see the note below.
Frequently asked questions

How much does a kids' meal cost at Chuck's Roadhouse?
Every entrée on the Lil' Chuck's menu is a flat $7.49, whether it's a hamburger, a cheeseburger, chicken fingers, grilled cheese, or one of two pasta dishes.
Why does the menu list two different Cheeseburger prices?
Because they're two different products. The adult Cheeseburger in the Burgers section is $13.99; the kids' Cheeseburger on the Lil' Chuck's menu is $7.49. Neither price is wrong.
What's included with a steak at Chuck's Roadhouse?
Steaks come with corn and fries, and lobster-tail entrées add warm butter and lemon. The cheapest steak, the 7 oz Top Sirloin at $15.00, is less than most of the menu's burgers.
Methodology
Prices come from Chuck's Roadhouse's own published menu, checked against the source file compiled for this guide. The source states prices may vary by location and exclude applicable taxes; it does not say whether the listed figures are counter prices, app prices, or both, so treat them as a starting point and confirm at your specific location before ordering. Ontario adds 13% HST, British Columbia charges GST plus PST, and Alberta charges 5% GST only, all on top of the menu prices shown here. This page was last verified August 6, 2026.
