Why there's no single McDonald's Canada price list
Search "McDonald's Canada menu" and you'll find plenty of sites presenting one clean price list for the whole country. None of them can back that up, because McDonald's Canada doesn't have a national price list to publish. Almost every Canadian McDonald's is an independently owned franchise, and franchisees set their own prices within limits the company sets, not a number handed down from head office. A McChicken can cost one amount in Scarborough and a different amount a few kilometres away in North York, both correctly priced for their own restaurant.
That's why this page doesn't claim to be a national price list either. What follows is one complete, real snapshot: every price a single restaurant, at 20 Eglinton Avenue East in Toronto, Ontario, was charging as of August 6, 2026, not blended with prices from other cities, provinces, or delivery apps to look more complete than it is.
One honest gap: the source data doesn't say whether these are counter prices or app prices, and McDonald's is known to charge differently depending on how you order. I can't confirm which one this is, so I'm flagging it up front rather than presenting it as more certain than it is.
Treat every number below as accurate to this one restaurant, on this one day, ordered this one way. That's a narrower claim than "the McDonald's Canada menu." It's also the only honest one available.
Quick facts
| Detail | Figure |
|---|---|
| Cheapest item | $1.19, apple slices or a single McPops (sauces alone run as low as $0.49) |
| Most expensive single-serving item | $19.59, Double Quarter Pounder BLT Extra Value Meal (group bundles run higher, see the bundles section) |
| Big Mac | $8.39 |
| Big Mac Extra Value Meal | $14.79 |
Every table below groups items the way the source data does, with price and calorie count for each. Where the source lacked a reliable figure, the cell reads n/a. The Extra Value Meal math, the per-unit breakdowns, and the bundle rankings sit in their own sections after the tables.
Bundles for groups
These six items are the only ones at this restaurant priced to feed more than one person. Cost-per-person math for the four named bundles is further down the page.
| Item | Price | Calories |
|---|---|---|
| Family Bundle, serves 3 | $31.49 | 1,510 to 2,930 |
| Value Bundle Meal, serves 4 | $38.39 | 2,280 to 3,700 |
| Late Night Bundle, serves 4 | $40.99 | 3,500 to 3,710 |
| Breakfast Bundle for 4 | $35.35 | 1,810 to 2,410 |

| Big Mac, no meat, Extra Value Meal | $12.59 | 540 to 970 |
Three items above are marked n/a: the plain Hamburger, Cheeseburger, and Double Cheeseburger. All three have confirmed calorie counts, 250, 290, and 430, just not a confirmed price at this location, and I'd rather show that gap than fill it with a guess. It's a telling one: the items missing a price are exactly the cheapest tier of the burger line, what a budget order would reach for first. One flag: "The Grinch Meal" is a seasonal promotional name preserved from the source, so don't expect it on the board outside the holidays.

| Spicy Buffalo Chicken Snack Wrap, crispy or grilled | $4.29 | 240 to 310 |
McCrispy is the one item here with neither a price nor a calorie count in the source, the only fully blank row on this page. Every Extra Value Meal version of it is priced normally, just not the plain sandwich on its own.
Happy Meals
| Item | Price | Calories |
|---|---|---|
| Hamburger Happy Meal with fries | $5.99 | 510 to 620 |
| Hamburger Happy Meal with apple slices | $5.99 | 300 to 410 |
| Cheeseburger Happy Meal with fries | $6.59 | 560 to 670 |

| 4 McNuggets Happy Meal with apple slices | $6.79 | 270 to 450 |
| Crispy Chicken Snack Wrap Happy Meal with fries | $6.39 | 560 to 670 |
| Crispy Chicken Snack Wrap Happy Meal with apple slices | $6.39 | 350 to 460 |
| Grilled Chicken Snack Wrap Happy Meal with fries | $6.39 | 490 to 600 |
| Grilled Chicken Snack Wrap Happy Meal with apple slices | $6.39 | 280 to 390 |
| Hotcakes Happy Meal with fries | $6.29 | 820 to 930 |
| Hotcakes Happy Meal with hash browns | $6.29 | 740 to 850 |
| Hotcakes Happy Meal with apple slices | $6.29 | 610 to 720 |
The side choice never moves a Happy Meal's price. Fries or apple slices costs the same, $5.99 on the Hamburger Happy Meal, $6.79 on the McNuggets version, and the Hotcakes Happy Meal holds $6.29 across all three sides, fries, hash browns, or apple slices. Apple slices alone cost $1.19 and World Famous Fries cost $2.99 elsewhere on this menu, so inside a Happy Meal, the smaller, less caloric side costs a parent nothing extra.

The source doesn't list cup sizes for fountain drinks, so treat these as base prices per drink, not a specific size.

| Vanilla Chai Frappe | $4.19 | 460 |
| Frappe with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle | $4.49 | 480 to 530 |
A regular Coca-Cola is $1.69. Coke Zero costs $2.39, 41% more for the sugar-free version of the same drink. Dasani Water costs $3.19, nearly double a Coke and $0.80 more than a Coke Zero, for a product that's just water.
Condiments
| Item | Price | Calories |
|---|---|---|
| Nugget sauce packet | $0.49 | 40 |
| Spicy Habanero sauce | $0.49 | 110 |
| Mayo-style sauce packet | $0.49 | 100 |
| Big Mac sauce | $0.59 | 170 |
| Gravy | $0.69 | 300 |
These five condiments are the true floor of the menu. At $0.49, the nugget sauce, spicy habanero, and mayo-style packet are the cheapest things you can buy here.
The Extra Value Meal step-up: what fries and a drink actually cost
This is the calculation most menu sites skip: what does McDonald's actually charge to turn a sandwich into a meal? The source lists both prices for nine items, so I subtracted one from the other for each.
| Item | Standalone | Extra Value Meal | Step-up |
|---|---|---|---|
| Double Hamburger | $3.39 | $6.69 | $3.30 |
| McChicken | $8.39 | $14.59 | $6.20 |
| Big Mac | $8.39 | $14.79 | $6.40 |
| 6 Chicken McNuggets | $8.39 | $14.79 | $6.40 |
| 10 Chicken McNuggets | $11.39 | $17.79 | $6.40 |
| Sweet Chili McWrap | $10.59 | $17.19 | $6.60 |
| Chicken & Bacon McWrap | $10.59 | $17.19 | $6.60 |
| Cajun Ranch McWrap | $10.99 | $17.59 | $6.60 |
| Creamy Avocado Ranch McWrap | $10.59 | $17.19 | $6.60 |
Eight of the nine land in a tight band, $6.20 to $6.60. A Big Mac costs $6.40 more as a meal, a McChicken $6.20 more, both McNugget sizes exactly $6.40, and all four McWraps $6.60. That's only $0.40 of spread across eight different products, more consistent with a handful of fixed upcharge tiers than a per-item fries-and-drink fee.
Then the Double Hamburger breaks it. Turning a $3.39 Double Hamburger into a meal costs $3.30 more, roughly half the step on everything else on the list. I don't have enough data to say why the gap is that wide, only that it's real.
For reference, fries and a Coca-Cola bought separately cost $2.99 plus $1.69, $4.68 combined. Every step-up above except the Double Hamburger's charges more than that for the same two items bundled in, which only makes sense if the combo drink or fries default to a larger size than the à la carte versions. The source doesn't specify combo sizes, so I'm flagging that rather than confirming it.
One naming note: the source lists "Creamy Avocado Ranch McWrap" as the standalone item and "Avocado Ranch McWrap Extra Value Meal" as its meal version, slightly different names for what looks like the same wrap. I've paired them on that assumption and flagged it here.
Three products, one price: the $8.39 tier
A Big Mac, a McChicken, and 6 Chicken McNuggets are three different products built from three different proteins, and all three cost exactly $8.39 at this restaurant. That's not what strict cost-based pricing would predict, where a beef patty, a chicken patty, and six nuggets should each carry a different food cost. It looks more like tiered pricing: pick a small number of price points, slot products into them.
The tier holds even though the value behind it doesn't. A Big Mac delivers 560 calories for that $8.39, 66.7 calories per dollar. A McChicken delivers 480 calories for the same $8.39, 57.2 calories per dollar. Same price, but the Big Mac works out to about 17% more calories per dollar.
The pattern repeats one level up. The Big Mac Extra Value Meal and the 6 McNuggets Extra Value Meal are both $14.79. The McCrispy, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, and Grilled Chicken Sandwich Extra Value Meals are all $15.59, three more sandwiches on one number. As the step-up table above shows, four different McWraps meet at $17.19 too. Individual sandwich prices vary. Meal prices cluster.
Per-unit pricing: McNuggets, McPops and cookies
McDonald's sells three product lines in multiple pack sizes with a clear per-unit price attached to each: Chicken McNuggets, McPops, and RMHC cookies. Bulk should get cheaper per piece. Mostly, it does.
Chicken McNuggets
| Pack | Price | Per piece |
|---|---|---|
| 6 Chicken McNuggets | $8.39 | $1.40 |
| 10 Chicken McNuggets | $11.39 | $1.14 |
| 20 McNuggets Extra Value Meal, serves 2 | $24.99 | $1.25 |
| 40 Chicken McNuggets, serves 4 | $33.99 | $0.85 |
Six to 10 pieces is a real bulk discount, $1.40 a nugget down to $1.14. The curve then appears to reverse at 20 pieces, up to $1.25, before dropping again to $0.85 at 40. That reversal isn't really about nugget pricing. The 20-piece option in the source is the "20 McNuggets Extra Value Meal," a full meal with fries and a drink bundled in for $24.99, not a standalone nugget price. Strip that out and the true nugget-only curve is just 6, 10, and 40 pieces: $1.40, $1.14, $0.85, falling all the way to the largest size with no flattening in sight. Forty pieces is the cheapest chicken on this menu by the piece.
One flag: the source separately lists a "20 Chicken McNuggets Meal, serves 2" at $31.39 in the bundles table, a different name and price for what looks like the same nugget count. I can't reconcile the two, so $24.99 is what I've used above, and $31.39 only appears in the bundles table and the ranking below.
McPops and cookies
| Pack | Price | Per unit |
|---|---|---|
| 1 McPops | $1.19 | $1.19 |
| 2 McPops | $2.19 | $1.10 |
| 6 McPops | $5.79 | $0.97 |
| Pack | Price | Per unit |
|---|---|---|
| 1 RMHC cookie | $1.49 | $1.49 |
| 2 RMHC cookies | $2.09 | $1.05 |
| 6 RMHC cookies | $5.69 | $0.95 |
| 12 RMHC cookies | $9.59 | $0.80 |
McPops start cheap and stay close to it: one to two only saves about 8%, from $1.19 to $1.10 each. Cookies start pricier and drop harder, $1.49 to $1.05, a 30% cut on the first upsize. By six units both lines sit within a couple of cents of each other, $0.97 and $0.95. Cookies keep falling from there, and the 12-pack at $0.80 each beats every other per-unit price on the menu, McNuggets included.
Bundles ranked by cost per person
McDonald's sells four group bundles built around a specific headcount. Divide price by servings and the ranking isn't what the sticker prices suggest.
| Bundle | Serves | Price | Cost per person |
|---|---|---|---|
| Breakfast Bundle | 4 | $35.35 | $8.84 |
| Value Bundle Meal | 4 | $38.39 | $9.60 |
| Late Night Bundle | 4 | $40.99 | $10.25 |
| Family Bundle | 3 | $31.49 | $10.50 |
The Family Bundle has the lowest total price of the four, $31.49, and the worst cost per person, $10.50, because it's the only one that feeds 3 people instead of 4. The Breakfast Bundle, despite sounding like the odd one out on a menu that isn't served all day, is the best per-person deal at $8.84, cheaper than the other three by at least $0.76 a head.
Two more group-sized items sit outside this ranking because they're nuggets only, no fries, no drink. The 40 Chicken McNuggets pack, serving 4 for $33.99, works out to $8.50 a person, which would beat every bundle above if plain nuggets count as a meal for your group. The 20 Chicken McNuggets Meal, serving 2 for $31.39, is the worst per-person figure on this page: $15.70 a head, almost double the Breakfast Bundle's rate and about 50% more than the Family Bundle's.
Breakfast
McDonald's Canada breakfast gets its own full price breakdown on a dedicated page, since it's a big enough menu to earn one. At the Toronto restaurant behind this guide, an Egg McMuffin runs $5.99, a Sausage McMuffin $3.39, a Chicken McMuffin $5.99, Hotcakes $5.29, and a Hash Brown $3.29. Across the full lineup, from the plain English Muffin to the Two Breakfast Burritos Extra Value Meal, prices run $2.09 to $11.09.
One thing to know before you go: McDonald's Canada doesn't serve breakfast all day. Weekday service cuts off around 10:30 a.m., and weekend breakfast runs until about 11:00 a.m. For the full lineup, every McMuffin, McGriddles, bagel, burrito, and wrap with prices, see the McDonald's Canada breakfast menu.
Looking for a printable version? This page is built to be one. Every table above prints cleanly: open it in a browser and use Print, or Save as PDF (Ctrl+P on Windows, Cmd+P on Mac), for the full item list, prices, and calories on paper or as a PDF, no separate download required.
You won't find a link to a McDonald's-issued PDF here. I can't verify who last edited one of those or when, which defeats the point of a page built around one verified snapshot. Whatever you print from here is the same August 6, 2026 data as the rest of this guide.
Frequently asked questions
Why doesn't McDonald's Canada have one set of menu prices?
Almost every McDonald's in Canada is an independently owned franchise, and franchisees set their own prices within company guidelines, not a fixed national list. That's why the same item can cost different amounts at two locations in the same city. Every price on this page comes from one restaurant, 20 Eglinton Avenue East in Toronto, checked August 6, 2026.
How much is a Big Mac in Canada?
At the Toronto location behind this guide, a Big Mac alone costs $8.39. As the Extra Value Meal, with fries and a drink, it's $14.79, a $6.40 step-up. Other restaurants will price it differently, since there's no national number to match.
What is the cheapest item on the McDonald's Canada menu?
The cheapest food item is $1.19, for apple slices or a single McPops in any of its three flavours. Count condiments and it drops further: the nugget sauce, spicy habanero sauce, and mayo-style sauce packets are all $0.49 each.
What is the most expensive item on the McDonald's Canada menu?
For one person, it's the Double Quarter Pounder BLT Extra Value Meal at $19.59. Group bundles cost more in total, up to $40.99 for the Late Night Bundle, but that's $10.25 a person, cheaper per head than that single meal.
How much more does an Extra Value Meal cost than the sandwich alone?
Usually $6.20 to $6.60. A Big Mac costs $6.40 more as a meal, a McChicken $6.20 more, and the four McWraps $6.60 more. The pattern breaks on the Double Hamburger, where the meal costs only $3.30 more, about half the usual step.
Do Chicken McNuggets get cheaper per piece the more you buy?
Yes, when you compare true nugget-only prices. Six nuggets cost $1.40 each, 10 cost $1.14 each, and 40 cost $0.85 each, the cheapest chicken on the menu by the piece. The 20-piece option is priced as a full meal with fries and a drink, so its $1.25 figure isn't a fair comparison to the others.
What's the best value bundle for a group at McDonald's Canada?
By cost per person, the Breakfast Bundle for 4 wins at $8.84 a head. The Family Bundle has the lowest total price of the four named bundles, $31.49, but the worst per-person cost, $10.50, because it only serves 3 people instead of 4.
Why is McDonald's sometimes called McDo in Canada?
McDo is shorthand that started in French-speaking Canada and is now used casually nationwide. It won't show up on a receipt or a menu board, but it shows up constantly in conversation and in search, which is why it's answered here.
Methodology and disclaimer
Every price and calorie figure in this guide comes from a single Toronto restaurant, 20 Eglinton Avenue East, checked as of August 6, 2026. The source data doesn't state whether these are counter prices or app prices, and at McDonald's those can differ, so I'm flagging that gap rather than guessing at it. McDonald's Canada does not publish one fixed price list for the country: prices are set restaurant by restaurant, and what's accurate here won't be exact for yours.
Eight data points in the source were marked "Not listed," including the plain Hamburger, Cheeseburger, and Double Cheeseburger, the McCrispy's price and calorie count, the 4 Chicken McNuggets price, and the Vanilla Cone. I've carried those through as n/a rather than estimate a number, and that gap sits right at the cheapest tier of the burger line, the items a value-focused reader would want most.
Where the source names a standalone item and its meal version slightly differently, like the Creamy Avocado Ranch McWrap, or lists a nugget bundle twice under two names and two prices, the $24.99 and $31.39 versions of the 20-piece, I've flagged it in the relevant section rather than picking one silently. All per-unit and per-person figures are rounded to the nearest cent from the exact prices in the source.
