Boston Pizza menu prices in Canada

Independent of Boston Pizza. Froqel is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Boston Pizza, and no price on this page was supplied by it. The name and mark above identify the chain whose prices this page records, and remain its owner's trademarks.

I built this list from Boston Pizza's national menu PDF and live Canadian menu pages, the closest thing the chain publishes to one price sheet for the country. Almost every line carries a calorie count, and the pizza section gives actual diameters, rare enough that I could finally work out price per square inch, the most useful number here. Boston Pizza sets pricing at the restaurant level, so treat every figure below as a solid reference, not a guarantee for your location.
Quick facts
- The cheapest lines on the price list are the $2.29 bacon add-on and $2.79 pizza dip. The cheapest item you'd order on its own is Non-Stop Pop or Fruit Juice, both $3.99.
- The most expensive items are a tie: Bourbon BBQ Chicken and Royal Hawaiian, both Large pizzas at $35.29.
- A Large create-your-own pizza costs $25.99, working out to $0.147 per square inch, the cheapest on the menu.
- The best value upgrade on the menu is medium to large create-your-own pizza: $3.50 buys 44 extra square inches, a marginal cost of just $0.080 per square inch, cheaper than any other size jump.

Apps and shareables
Calories are per serving except where noted.
| Item | Price | Calories | Serves |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Triple Play | $22.79 | 435 | 4 |
| Crispy Cajun Shrimp | $15.99 | 255 | 2 |
| Garlic Parmesan Fries | $10.59 | 385 | 3 |
| Thai Bites | $17.79 | 330 | 2 |
| Bandera Bread | $13.49 | 480 | 2 |
| Cactus Cut Potatoes | $13.79 | 390 | 3 |
| Classic Nachos | $22.79 | 420 | 5 |
| Classic Nachos, starter | $18.79 | 350 | 3 |
| Onion Rings | $11.99 | 390 | 2 |
| Spinach & Artichoke Dip | $16.59 | 380 | 3 |
Three more starters are priced but carry no share count, because Boston Pizza publishes their calories a different way: the Boston-size Bandera Bread per slice rather than per serving, and the soups as a range across the rotating flavours. They belong on the columns the chain actually fills:
| Item | Price | Calories |
|---|---|---|
| Bandera Bread, Boston size | $23.99 | 210 per slice |
| Soup of the Day, bowl | $9.29 | 230 to 630 |
| Soup of the Day, cup | $6.79 | 30 to 400 |
The Boston-size Bandera Bread costs $10.50 more than the regular at $13.49, and the bowl of soup costs $2.50 more than the cup.
Wings and chicken
| Item | Variant | Price | Calories |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fried or Oven-Roasted Wings | Starter | $18.99 | 780 to 830 |
| Fried or Oven-Roasted Wings | Double order | $28.99 | 1,560 to 1,650 |
| All Meat Bites | Starter | $18.99 | 570 |
| All Meat Bites | Double order | $28.99 | 1,140 |
| Chicken Tenders | Starter | $17.99 | 400 |
The double order of Chicken Tenders is on the menu at $26.99 but Boston Pizza publishes no calorie count for it, so it isn't in the table above. The wings and the All Meat Bites both double their calories exactly when the order doubles, but that is their published figure, not a rule I'm going to apply to a third item on their behalf.
Sauce flavour adds roughly 5 to 380 calories on top of the wing, depending on choice and quantity.
Pizza
Boston Pizza's four round sizes are individual at about 8 inches, small at 10, medium at 13, and large at 15. Individual calories are for the whole pie; small, medium, and large are per slice, as Boston Pizza publishes them. Each cell reads price, then calories in brackets.

Kids' menu and desserts
Boston Pizza bundles kids' meals with a main, a drink, a dessert, and an activity pack, but I couldn't find one published national price. The company sets kids' pricing by location, so I'm reporting the gap rather than guessing.
Desserts are the same story. Five are on the national menu, Sticky Toffee Pudding, Brownie Addiction, Salted Caramel Panookie, New York Cheesecake and Chocolate Explosion Cheesecake, and Boston Pizza prices all five by location rather than nationally, so there is no figure to publish for any of them here. The chain also notes that ice cream may not come with takeout or delivery desserts.
Pizza size analysis: price per square inch
Boston Pizza is one of the few chains that publishes actual pizza diameters instead of only small, medium, and large, so I can work out real price per square inch instead of guessing. Create-your-own is the cleanest way to do it: every size uses one flat price.
| Size | Diameter | Slices | Area | Create-your-own price | Price per square inch |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Individual | 8 inches | 6 | 50.3 sq in | $11.99 | $0.239 |
| Small | 10 inches | 8 | 78.5 sq in | $14.99 | $0.191 |
| Medium | 13 inches | 10 | 132.7 sq in | $22.49 | $0.169 |
| Large | 15 inches | 12 | 176.7 sq in | $25.99 | $0.147 |
Slices get bigger as the pizza does, too: an individual slice averages 8.4 square inches, and a large slice averages 14.7, roughly half again the size.
Bigger is better value at every step: the large works out to $0.147 per square inch, about 38% less than the $0.239 an individual costs. But the average hides the more useful number, the marginal cost of each upgrade: what you actually pay for the extra pizza when you step up one size.
| Upgrade | Extra price | Extra area | Marginal cost per square inch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Individual to small | $3.00 | 28.2 sq in | $0.106 |
| Small to medium | $7.50 | 54.2 sq in | $0.138 |
| Medium to large | $3.50 | 44.0 sq in | $0.080 |
The small to medium jump is the worst deal on the menu: $7.50 for 54.2 extra square inches, a marginal cost of $0.138 per square inch, pricier than even the first upgrade from individual to small. The medium to large jump reverses that completely, $3.50 for 44 more square inches, a marginal cost of just $0.080.
That is the best money on this menu, 42% cheaper per extra square inch than the small to medium step. If you're deciding between a medium and a large, the large is the easy call. If you're deciding between a small and a medium, know you're paying a real premium for that step, even though the medium still beats the small on average.
Named pizzas versus create-your-own
Every named pizza costs more than building the same size yourself, and the gap grows as the pizza gets bigger, shown here against the $25.99 large create-your-own base.
| Pizza | Large price | Premium over create-your-own | Premium |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vegetarian | $33.49 | +$7.50 | 28.9% |
| Deluxe | $33.99 | +$8.00 | 30.8% |
| Mediterranean | $33.99 | +$8.00 | 30.8% |
| The Meateor | $34.29 | +$8.30 | 31.9% |
| Carbonara Pizza | $34.29 | +$8.30 | 31.9% |
| Sweet & Savoury Italian | $34.29 | +$8.30 | 31.9% |
| Tropical Chicken | $34.49 | +$8.50 | 32.7% |
| Spicy Perogy | $34.49 | +$8.50 | 32.7% |
| Bourbon BBQ Chicken | $35.29 | +$9.30 | 35.8% |
| Royal Hawaiian | $35.29 | +$9.30 | 35.8% |
No named pizza beats create-your-own at any size I checked. Vegetarian is the cheapest topping package throughout, $2.00 more at individual size and $7.50 more at large. Bourbon BBQ Chicken and Royal Hawaiian are the priciest, $3.50 more at individual and $9.30 more at large.
The percentage premium climbs with size rather than shrinking, from about 17% to 29% for Vegetarian and about 29% to 36% for Bourbon BBQ Chicken and Royal Hawaiian. Building your own doesn't get relatively cheaper as pizzas get bigger: it gets relatively more expensive to buy the name brand instead.
Calories per dollar across the mains
Nearly every pasta, chicken, rib, and steak dish lists a price and a calorie count (see the tables above), so I ran the math on which dishes hand you the most calories per dollar. I'm not a nutritionist and more calories isn't automatically a win, but the spread is worth knowing if you're feeding a hungry table on a budget.
| Item | Calories | Calories per dollar |
|---|---|---|
| Smoky Mountain Spaghetti & Meatballs | 2,010 | 86.3 |
| Creamy Mushroom & Spinach Bake | 1,410 | 73.1 |
| The Hungry Carnivore | 1,450 | 65.9 |
| Jambalaya Fettuccini | 1,350 | 60.6 |
| Spicy Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese | 1,320 | 60.0 |
| Mac & Cheese | 1,120 | 57.5 |
| Chicken & Mushroom Fettuccini | 1,250 | 56.1 |
| Parmesan Shrimp Alfredo | 1,160 | 49.8 |
| Chicken Parmesan | 980 | 39.9 |
| Slow-Roasted Pork Back Ribs, full rack | 1,140 | 38.0 |
| NY Strip Loin Steak, 10 oz | 1,040 | 34.7 |
| Baked Seven-Cheese Ravioli | 710 | 33.8 |
| Slow-Roasted Pork Back Ribs, half rack | 730 | 33.5 |
Smoky Mountain Spaghetti & Meatballs is the clearest calorie value on the menu, $23.29 for 2,010 calories, 86.3 calories per dollar. Baked Seven-Cheese Ravioli sits near the bottom at just 33.8, despite its lower $20.99 price, about 2.6 times less calorie-efficient. The half rack of pork back ribs is the actual bottom of this list at 33.5, edging out even the ravioli, a portion story more than a quality one: the full rack, at 38.0, is a better calorie deal than its own half-size version.
Portion upsells and surcharges
Boston Pizza's menu has several places where you pay for more of the same thing: a bigger appetizer, a second wing order, a bun swap, a side upgrade. Here's whether the bigger option is the better deal.
The Boston size upsell
Bandera Bread runs $13.49 regular, serving two at 480 calories each, versus $23.99 for the Boston size, a 77.8% jump, $10.50 more. Boston Pizza lists calories per slice for the Boston size (210) but not a slice count, so a clean per-serving comparison isn't possible here. Take the percentage as the honest number.
Classic Nachos are cleaner: $22.79 for five, $4.56 a head, versus $18.79 for three, $6.26 a head. The full size is 27.2% cheaper per person, so for a group, skipping the starter is the smarter order.
Starter versus double order
Wings and All Meat Bites both run $18.99 starter, $28.99 double, saving $8.99 against two starters at $37.98, 23.7% off. Chicken Tenders follow the same shape at $17.99 and $26.99, again exactly $8.99 cheaper than two starters. Every double order on this menu saves that same $8.99, whatever the item: the second batch effectively costs $9.00 to $10.00 instead of $17.99 to $18.99, a 47% to 50% discount.
The GlutenWise bun surcharge
Three sandwiches offer a GlutenWise bun swap, and all three charge exactly $1.00 more: Grilled Chicken Clubhouse from $19.99 to $20.99, Boston-Sized Burger from $20.29 to $21.29, Cali Veggie Burger from $18.99 to $19.99. It's a flat surcharge, so it matters less on the pricier sandwiches.
Side substitution premium
Fries, Caesar salad, garden salad, and coleslaw are the standard sides, included or added from $3.50. Swapping in garlic mashed potatoes, quinoa and rice, garlic Parmesan fries, onion rings, sweet potato fries, or cactus cut potatoes costs $3.99 instead, a flat $0.49 premium, 14% more, no matter which side you pick.
Value analysis: the best and worst dollars on this menu
Boston Pizza publishes both diameters and calorie counts, which makes it the most measurable menu on this site — and the two measurements disagree about what the best order is.
By the square inch, the answer is settled. The size analysis above works it out in full: a large create-your-own costs $0.147 per square inch against $0.239 for an individual, and the medium-to-large step is the single best money on this menu at $0.080 per extra square inch. The small-to-medium step, at $0.138, is the worst — 73% dearer per extra square inch than the step immediately after it. Two consecutive upgrades on the same product, and one costs nearly twice what the other does. If you are choosing between a small and a medium, that premium is real; if you are choosing between a medium and a large, take the large without thinking about it.
By the calorie, the answer is different, and it is a warning. The starters are where this menu gets expensive per unit of food: Bandera Bread is $13.49 for 480 calories, and a bowl of Soup of the Day is $9.29. Against a large create-your-own pizza at $25.99, an order of two starters can cost most of a pizza and feed fewer people.
The single worst-value line on the menu is a shared appetizer bought as a double order. Wings go from $18.99 as a starter to $28.99 as a double — $10.00 for a second portion that costs $18.99 the first time, which reads as a genuine bulk discount until you notice the same $10.00 step applies to All Meat Bites at exactly the same two prices. Both starters and both doubles are priced identically despite being different food. As with the pizza tiers, Boston Pizza is pricing the format, not the ingredients.
And the best cheap decision on the menu: the $2.29 bacon add-on and the $2.79 pizza dip are the only two lines under $3.00 anywhere here.
Regional price variance: what the same order costs across Canada
Every price on this page is pre-tax. Two layers move the final number and only one of them is published.
The tax layer, fixed by statute and identical for every restaurant in a province:
| Order | Pre-tax | Ontario | 5% GST only | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Non-Stop Pop | $3.99 | $4.19 | $4.19 | $0.00 |
| Milk | $4.29 | $4.85 | $4.50 | $0.35 |
| Individual create-your-own pizza | $11.99 | $13.55 | $12.59 | $0.96 |
| Large create-your-own pizza | $25.99 | $29.37 | $27.29 | $2.08 |
| Large Bourbon BBQ Chicken pizza | $35.29 | $39.88 | $37.05 | $2.82 |
The first two rows are thirty cents apart on the menu and sixty-six cents apart at the till, and that is the whole story of Ontario's small-order rule in one pair of drinks. Ontario rebates the 8% provincial portion of the HST on qualifying prepared food and beverages where the transaction total is $4.00 or less, so the $3.99 pop is taxed at 5% and the $4.29 milk at 13%.
Boston Pizza is close to the opposite of Tim Hortons on this measure. Barely one priced line in ten here sits at or under $4.00, and none of them is a dish: they are the two drinks, the bacon and dip add-ons, and the side substitutions. This is a sit-down menu built above the threshold, so an Ontario customer pays the full 13% on effectively every order. Where that rebate covers roughly three quarters of the Tim Hortons menu, here it covers almost nothing. The rule is explained in the six-doughnut tax guide.
The menu-price layer, which Boston Pizza does not fix nationally. The chain is franchised and prices by location, and what moves that layer is rent, wages and local competition rather than tax — a downtown Toronto or downtown Vancouver restaurant carries a cost base a suburban Alberta location does not, and neither is obliged to match the other. The only measured example on this site is at Kelsey's, where one item runs $20.99 in Ottawa and $23.99 in Niagara Falls — 14.3% apart inside one province, with no tax difference at all. The kids' menu and the desserts on this page carry no national price for exactly that reason. Provinces outside the HST group tax restaurant food differently again, and I have not verified their current treatment item by item, so the 5% column is the floor.
Delivery markup: counter price against app price
I have no verified Boston Pizza delivery prices and will not publish a markup I have not measured. The two Canadian markups that have been measured are a flat 20.0% at Kelsey's and a flat $1.40 per item at Swiss Chalet. Applied to Boston Pizza's real menu prices:
| Item | Menu price | Under a 20% markup | Under a flat $1.40 | What $1.40 is, as a percentage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Non-Stop Pop | $3.99 | $4.79 | $5.39 | 35.1% |
| Individual create-your-own pizza | $11.99 | $14.39 | $13.39 | 11.7% |
| Large create-your-own pizza | $25.99 | $31.19 | $27.39 | 5.4% |
| Large Bourbon BBQ Chicken pizza | $35.29 | $42.35 | $36.69 | 4.0% |
Boston Pizza is the chain on this site where the two delivery models diverge most, and where the percentage model is by far the worse one. A flat $1.40 costs 4.0% on the most expensive pizza on the menu; a 20% markup on the same pizza costs $7.06 — five times as much, and more than the price of a whole starter. Because almost nothing here is cheap, the regressive flat surcharge that punishes a Tim Hortons order barely registers on a Boston Pizza one, and the percentage markup that is survivable on a coffee becomes the expensive option on a $35.29 pizza.
That is the practical takeaway for a large order anywhere: a flat surcharge is the cheap model at the top of a menu and the punishing one at the bottom. The full comparison is in the delivery app markup guide. The restaurant sets the in-app price, not the platform, so SkipTheDishes, Uber Eats and DoorDash listings for the same restaurant usually start from the same marked-up list and diverge in the fee stack instead.
The dine-in menu, with prices
Everything here comes from Boston Pizza's standard menu, the one you'd be handed at a table, not a delivery-app markup. Boston Pizza doesn't publish a separate sheet for dine-in versus takeout, so treat these prices as your dine-in reference; I haven't verified delivery or third-party app pricing, which Boston Pizza didn't publish.
If you're splitting apps at the table, cost per person matters more than the sticker price. Here's every shareable ranked by price per person, using Boston Pizza's own serving sizes.
| Shareable | Price | Serves | Price per person |
|---|---|---|---|
| Garlic Parmesan Fries | $10.59 | 3 | $3.53 |
| Classic Nachos, full | $22.79 | 5 | $4.56 |
| Cactus Cut Potatoes | $13.79 | 3 | $4.60 |
| Spinach & Artichoke Dip | $16.59 | 3 | $5.53 |
| The Triple Play | $22.79 | 4 | $5.70 |
| Classic Nachos, starter | $18.79 | 3 | $6.26 |
| Bandera Bread | $13.49 | 2 | $6.75 |
| Crispy Cajun Shrimp | $15.99 | 2 | $8.00 |
| Thai Bites | $17.79 | 2 | $8.90 |
Garlic Parmesan Fries is the best-value shareable, $3.53 a head. Thai Bites is priciest at $8.90, about two and a half times as much per person. Ordering the full Classic Nachos instead of the starter, as noted above, is worth $1.70 a head once there are three or more of you.
One more dine-in detail: every price above excludes tax. Ontario adds 13% HST, British Columbia charges GST plus provincial sales tax, Alberta just 5% GST, so your bill runs higher than the menu math depending on where you're sitting.
A printable Boston Pizza price list, no PDF required
I'm not linking to or hosting Boston Pizza's own PDF here: it changes by location, so a single downloadable file would go stale the moment a franchise updates its board. What's here is the current version, verified August 6, 2026, built to print cleanly. Use your browser's print function, Cmd+P on a Mac, Ctrl+P on Windows, and save as a PDF for your phone or the fridge.
That captures every table above, calories included, in the order they appear.
Frequently asked questions
How much is a large pizza at Boston Pizza?
A large create-your-own pizza is $25.99. Named large pizzas cost more, from $33.49 for a Vegetarian to $35.29 for a Bourbon BBQ Chicken or Royal Hawaiian. Square pizzas run $29.99 to $32.49.
Is it cheaper to build your own pizza than order a named one?
Yes, at every size I checked. Vegetarian, the cheapest topping package, adds $2.00 at individual size and $7.50 at large. Bourbon BBQ Chicken and Royal Hawaiian, the priciest, add $3.50 at individual and $9.30 at large.
Does a bigger pizza cost less per square inch at Boston Pizza?
Yes. Create-your-own drops from $0.239 per square inch at individual to $0.191 small, $0.169 medium, and $0.147 large. The best upgrade is medium to large: $3.50 for 44 more square inches, a marginal cost of $0.080.
Does Boston Pizza have a lunch menu with set prices?
Not in the national menu data I could verify. Boston Pizza's menu pages and menu PDF don't list a lunch-hour price sheet, though individual restaurants are known to run their own unverified lunch specials. Call your local location for exact pricing.
Does Boston Pizza have a happy hour menu?
Not one I could confirm nationally. Happy hour pricing appears to be set by individual restaurants rather than published company-wide, and it wasn't part of the menu data behind this page. Check with your local restaurant for its own times and prices.
What is the cheapest item on the Boston Pizza menu?
Non-Stop Pop and Fruit Juice are tied as the cheapest items you'd order on their own, both $3.99. The cheapest food item overall is the Soup of the Day, cup, at $6.79.
Is there a printable PDF of this Boston Pizza price list?
Froqel doesn't host a separate PDF, and I'm not linking to Boston Pizza's own one either, since it varies by location. This page is built to print cleanly: use your browser's print-to-PDF function to save every table above.
Are kids' menu and dessert prices included in this list?
No, and that's a deliberate gap, not an oversight. Boston Pizza sets kids' meal and dessert pricing locally and doesn't publish one Canada-wide number for either, so I'm reporting the gap rather than estimating a price that could be wrong.
Methodology and disclaimer
Every price and calorie figure above comes from Boston Pizza's official national menu PDF and live Canadian menu pages, checked August 6, 2026. Every calculation here, price per square inch, calories per dollar, cost per person, every percentage, is Froqel's own math, not a Boston Pizza figure. Kids' meal, dessert, lunch, happy hour, and delivery or app pricing aren't part of Boston Pizza's national data, so none appear here as guesses. Prices are set locally and can change without notice: treat this page as a starting point, not a final receipt.
